A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL!

Welcome! It is my pleasure to inform you of all of the extraordinary

learning opportunities that are being offered at Parks Elementary

and Middle School. Achievement is the driving force and our

students are always encouraged to succeed at every level and to

do their best.

We are off to a great 2009-2010 school year with a new "Teacher Advancement Program (TAP)" that is being implemented. Visit our

TAP webpage to learn more about this cutting edge instructional

process that is geared to improving student achievement and to

improve teacher quality.

Additionally, we have a dynamic faculty and staff, who are dedicated

to all of our students, coupled with many dedicated supporters made

up of you: our parents, grandparents, guardians, and community

friends. Hand in Hand, we can continue to make our school a place

where "Failure is not an Option."

As always, we encourage you to stay active in the educational

process of your child or children by keeping in touch with their

teachers. You may become an active member of our Parent Teacher Organization or become a parent volunteer. Working with and encouraging your child to be the best student academically and behaviorally will enhance his or her success at school.
