What's New!!
Mr. Alvin Leon is busy giving the school a facelift; not only academically, but also physically. He started with a physical arrangement of classes and the offering of increased technological benefits from adding additional computers to smart boards for teachers and students. Why? Our children are just that important! We want the teachers and students to have everything they need for their success. We won’t stop until we get all that is needed. He’s adamant about the change in his students’ education and he is also firm in the commitment to make their school clean, safe and orderly for them as well. What is he doing along with his devoted staff; he’s arousing the inner man in them as well as the outer man. He’s also raising the self esteem of each student as well as educating them while teaching them to take pride in their education. This is what it is going to take to make each student here prepared to meet the challenges of the future. Look at this project that has been taken on by him and his staff and students. This parking lot was once an eye sore, but now even the bus drivers are enjoying what they see when they enter the parking area. The students and faculty feel a new sense of integrity and value as well. Our custodians, Mrs. Beverly Lee and Mr. Kelvin Cross are dedicated to seeing his vision become realized. They are giving long hours to this project. It’s just a start, but it has started well. More to come. Keep your eyes on Principal Alvin Leon and the Frankie Ray Jackson, Sr. Technical Center; if you blink you might miss something. Hats off to another fantastic effort from the administrator, faculty, staff, and students of the FRJSTC.
