Description of Fairview

Fairview Alpha Elementary/Junior High consists of Pre-k through 8th grade. Student population is approximately 700. The physical plant has one entrance. All vehicles enter and exit through this entrance. All visitors are asked to park in front of the school and enter through the front doors as shown in the first picture below. Due to our priority for the safety of all students--visitors must check in at the office which is located through the first door to the right when entering the building as shown in the second picture below.

Computer Lab

Our school has a computer lab which houses 28 Internet connected computers with Christy Schutz as the instructor. All student and faculty/staff must sign an user agreement policy provided by Natchitoches Parish School Board in order to use any computer housed at Fairview Alpha Elementary/Jr. High School. The computer lab is shown below.

Library

The Fairview Alpha Elementary/Jr. High Library is operated by Jackie Campbell. The library has four Internet connected computers and houses over 9,800 books for students and teachers to use. The library also has an online list of titles which teachers can access in their classrooms. The picture below shows Fairview's library.
