From the Desk of the Principal

Welcome to Cloutierville Elementary Jr. High! Founded in 1918, the school is located in the heart of the Cane River National Heritage Trail, an area rich in cultural history.

The faculty and staff at CEJH are committed to providing an educational environment where learning is the expectation and caring is the commitment. Our school is a teaching and learning community where collaborative planning and effective instructional practices are implemented to ensure students the support needed for success.

Schooling goes well beyond the classroom door. We encourage and invite our parents and community to be active partners with us. Communities do not have a more important responsibility than the education of its young people. We firmly believe that when home and school work together, our students will gain immeasurable benefits leading to productive citizens.
